Busted some ice and some slabs/pics

The ol man is tired but i had to do it. Last 2 days have been a joy on the ice. Yesterday it was day #1 and a good catch of yellows and Bass was in store for me. -3 when i started but no wind and it was rather nice out. Today was back to my slab hole. They were waiting but not the big bunch yet. Nice size at 13-15. Also had a few pike show up. They also took a trip home and will make a nice meal for my eagles.

always enjoy your posts, i was curious though is there a reason for the crappie ya'll catch up there to have that golden tint like they do. ive never caught one like that here is south ms. just wandering if it was the minerals in the water or what. they are beautiful fish.
