Super cool bobbers

Ray, did you ever use porcupine quills as floats. We used them for bream when I was a kid

Nope, but we used small yellow "cork" corks, not the Styrofoam ones you get today. Have not seen any of the originals in a long time.

Too many wine bottles to cork to have any left over to fish with.
The quills were great pricey in the day so if we lost one someone was going for a swim.
