Rickie do these apps just show the big lakes and not the small one like I fish? So far I have not seen any of the map stuff have my little lake. I don't care to load the app if it is not available as it is the only lake I fish. Thanks for any information on this.

Im assuming you have to buy maps again even though you have the lake master chip?

The FishSmart app uses the same ChartSelect program HB offers ...

The ChartSelect program is where you buy 1 Lake and load the lake data (from the HB ChartSelect website) onto an encrypted SD Card to be viewed on your HB unit as a transparency layer over your unit's base map ...

The FishSmart app allows you to buy 1 Lake at a time and download the lake data directly thru the FishSmart app onto your phone device ...

Once the lake data has been downloaded to the phone device, it has the same functions on the phone device as a ChartSelect encrypted SD Card data does on the HB unit ...

(notice at the bottom of the below capture that Waypoints, Routes, and Tracks can be created in the app) ...

Now we can have LakeMaster mapping on our phone (purchased 1 Lake at a time) ..

And our phone map have the same functionality as LakeMaster mapping on our HB unit ...
