Here is the question of the day? Where is Lowrance headed with the HDS Line?
Also, what is the difference between a Gen2 Touch and a new Elite Ti 9 or 12 unit?

The price points are very good, but what is the catch. I hear the competition is coming out with several hings, is Lowrance ready??

Elite ti is not intending to compete with HDS ...

Its intention is to offer consumers larger screens at a mid level price point ... and removing some features is the cost cutting factors that allows this to be ...

No multitouch ...
Not possible to connect both an Airmar CHIRP transducer AND a StructureScan transducer ...
Lack of waypoint synchronization for editing ...
Lack of Sonar sharing ...
Lack of map sharing ...
Limited button interface ...
Single micro-SD card ...

Rumors are Lowrance still has something bigger to be released yet ...
