The voices made me go.
Hit the water around 2:00 -4:00 had to try my new rain gear. Awesome gear definitely would recommend.
Hit first dock, tried (BG) lights out, out law, bluegrass, nothing. Just happened to have two 1/64 oz / size 6 hook hand tied feather jigs I tie. Put one on my 5'6" shooting rod, 2 lb line. Game on. Caught 13, 9 keepers. I tie my jigs with I very tiny body to them, to slim the profile . I keep count on how long it took my 1/32 oz, size 1 hook to hit bottom with a (BG) 2 inch baby shad,6 seconds. The 1/64 size 6 hook with slim profile took 8-9 seconds. A world of difference for a crappie.
Color was natural mallard Ballard ( white with gray almost like smoke ). Than wound in micro chenille, olive sparkle. Got the table set up and the vise holding a jig just waiting on me.getting I 'll tie a few extra for you S-P.

That's the way to figure them out. Glad to hear you got some good rain gear. The wife and I have the one's from BPS that are just under the 100mph suits and they work great for us.
