Went out Saturday morning bright and early. Caught 22 crappie, wind was about 5 mph to start with and although it was pretty cold I didn't notice it a lot while catching fish. Well about 8:00 am the wind got pretty bad the fish stopped biting like they were and the boat was like trying to steer a wild horse and I was chilled to the bone. Well at 9:30 I had all I cared to take and loaded up and went home to fillet my catch. The fish I fillet was full of shad so they must be feeding up for the winter now. Fish were in 13' to 15' water about 7" deep. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving this past week and are catching lots of fish.:fish
