They do it this way successfully so I finally found a welder that doesn't mind being paid in fish and $ and had it welded up. Plates big enough for lots of adjustment .... might even be able to go go [emoji196] 'n solo. Just gotta master the steering aspect.
We'll see....but I'm happy n thought I'd share the boats progress once again

Boy you moving on up. Those oldtimers will move the handel 90 degrees.I've seen em mount to the rear a little to keep em out the way.
And to think.....those old timers had to paddle....
