I just pick me up some new trolling poles and now time to get me some new reels. I been running a mixture of bait cast and spinning reels. I like to get all the same. Witch reels do you like better for your trolling rods.

If you are used to the baitcaster and ever used a "flippin switch" , I love the flippin switch in shallow water or fishing hi in the water column, Grizzly Jigs has some left handers for around for around 30 bucks each.
Low profile baitcast reels with a thumbar & metered line is popular. So are line counter reels. The size 15 Okuma line counter reels used to be the more popular, back when they ran around $25 .... but, recently there's been a lot of talk about the Shakespeare ATS Trolling Reel ( https://northwoodsoutlet.com/product...trolling-reel/ ) being a good alternative and at the same price range that the Okuma's used to be, at around $25ea.
In the spinning reel dept ... the Shimano IX series reels are low cost & functional, and some use them for both longline & spider rig usage.
