Shenango crappies

Fished there three days last week and did good every trip. Lots of big crappies caught. Bobby Garland jigs took most of the fish. Deep stumps produced best.

Haha. Fishfry? My kids fish my freezer like they have a ten foot rod in their hands. I really have to hide some fillets for myself at this time of year. It's all good tho. I love my kids. We'll have plenty for the get together in may. Hopefully my trip to Ky lake will help put some away.

I finally made it up to Pymy to the campground and also to the Park Office and got the info needed for the get together, so stay tuned, will be giving info in the next few days.

My brother Rich fished Shenango lake yesterday and did pretty good.

Another good day even tho it was a little cold. Kept around twenty crappies out of over fifty caught. They moved out of the shallow brush and were stacked in the deeper brush. 14' was the best depth for numbers.

I was by myself but thanks. Went out again today to keep my tradition going and did pretty darn good. My buddy Rev came home for the holiday and ask me to keep some fish for him. Kept thirty for him and thirteen for me. Our limit here in PA is fifty for those of you that don't know. Three pole limit too.
