local crappie guides

gonna be visiting Oklahoma City Nov 19 to 27 & wondering if someone can recommend a local lake and guide for this Illinois crappie guy???

Reason no one has answered you is because there are some great guides here and several that use this forum and it would be hard to say which one to contact. I know they are catching fish at Eufaula and Fort Gibson. Two of the best crappie guides I know would be Mark McGuire (Ranger 09) and Brian (Eufaula Boy). They both guide on Eufaula and Fort Gibson. You can PM either one of them for more info. There are several more but I know these 2 are consistently on fish. If you look at the Eufaula forum, you will see several posts from both of them and some contact info. Hope this helps

Ok, I'll speak up. I've hired both Ranger 09, (Mark McGuire) and Eufuala Boy (Brian Young). For different reasons. Both not only put me on fish, which was the bonus but taught me techniques I was looking for. I wanted to learn what the cast and drag method was all about so I hired Mark. We caught a three man limit short 2 in a half day outing. I took my Dad who is a die hard green carp fisherman and he got in the action as well.

I needed to learn spider rigging so I ask around and was told by many to only hire one guide for that technique, and that was Brian. Brian was not only able to find us fish that day but showed me in detail and explained to me the ins and out of the riggin technique. Both men are exceptional guides as well as just good folk who I consider good friends now. Hire either one and you won't be disappointed, I assure you.

DN-Well not real sure at this point. Visiting my daughter in OKC & not sure what is close by. Even if I don't get to fish would like to take my son in law (USAF currently deployed) to look at some crappie waters. Open to suggestions. Thanks everyone for your input.

I don't have a big enough boat for 3 people or I'd take ya'll. I've been on some OKC toads last 2 months. Find someone with a boat and I'll put ya on em.
