Lemon Report and Met Two Forum Members
Indianachinker and myself went to Lemon on Saturday. Got on the water just about daylight, and it was a beautiful calm/warm morning. We started off spider rigging for probably 90 minutes and did not catch a fish and only had one bite. We switched to long line and started to get one here and there. Then the wind picked up and blew hard causing white caps most of the day until we pulled off the water around 2pm. All said and done we caught around 30 and and kept 10 that were 9-13". Water is still way warm at 62-64*, and we did not find anything schooled up of significance. Everything we caught was scattered and one here and one there. Still had a great day on the water though.
I would also say it was a great pleasure to meet Billbob and Cevans. They were putting in as I was walking back from parking the truck. It was a chance meeting as I saw Cevans had a Millennium seat on his boat and I was just reading about them the night before on here. Anyways I started talking to them, Crappie.com got mentioned and the rest is history. Thanks again for the c.c calendar and it was nice to meet a couple more guys off the forum.
