Lake Washington/Enid trip 10/23-10/26
Me and my son in-law made a last minute decision to go on a fishing trip so what better place to go then Mississippi. So we got load up and heading south about 8:30 pm on Saturday night. I did not have a solid plan as to what lake we were going to but had at least 8 hour drive to think about it. We made it to the Mississippi welcome center on 55 around 3:00am. We stop in and was going to try to get a few hours of sleep then go to Enid. Well after about an hour of trying to sleep I thought this is dumb and made the decision that we still had time that we might as well just drive to lake Washington so off we went. We got to Bait and Things just as it was starting to get light got the boat rigged up and got minnows. That was the first time that I have been on Washington and what a beautiful lake it is http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...52e035732a.jpg
The fish seemed to be scattered to me but we did end up with 12 that day spider rigging in 11' to 14'. On Monday we fished the same area and picked up 30.

We got up on Tuesday and headed back North and made it to Enid and was on the water by 7:00.

We fished Enid for a day and a half and ended up with 20 keepers all of them in 14' to 16' of water pushing minnows. That was the first time that my son in-law had been to Mississippi to fish and was amazed at the fishing that you have in Mississippi and how nice the people are. All he kept talking about on the drive home is went we can go back.
