Where is the best place to bankfish from at reelfoot lake if you don't mind saying? I'm going tomorrow and I'll be bank fishing but I don't want to be around a bunch of people not from around here and I would rather not have to go in blind and just try out spots. Any input is appreciated!!
Don't know that you would do any good there right now, but 2 springs ago Dad and I watched a girl wearing them out off the bank at the playground. It may still be closed for construction. There is a sidewalk along the water on the est end of the playground that goes around the trees in the edge off the water. 20ft out the water is about 6 ft deep and if you look at the sidewalk you can see where it used to go around a tree that is no longer there....Its in the water. She was chunking minnows under a float.
My cousin use to catch a lot of crappie at the end of the pier at keystone park. There is some structure out past the end of the pier. He would cast a slip float out there and ease it back to the pier.I don't know about how many people would be there,I would just try to be the first one there. Also those new bridge pilings under the bridge at the new spillway look like they would hold some fish. If you can get there without getting in trouble,I don't know. Hope this helps.
