Well finally made it to Henderson Wednesday after about a 4 month hiatus from fishing period and man "DID IT FEEL GOOD".Almost forgot what it felt like to be out on the water and enjoying the moments mother nature has to offer.Fished from 10:00 to about 2:30 and picked up 10 decent fish and kept 4 extra hook swallowers..Lots of small fish along with bream and a few catfish that were all released.All caught on shiners in about 3 FOW near Opelousas Bay and Pelba.Was good to pick up a few fish but able to catch or not it was good just to be out and about on the lake.:fishAttachment 250224 Attachment 250223

Yes it is next on my list.Haven't heard many reports on Mermentau so i guess will have to take trip soon.Fishing kind of held up due to following daughter in band competitions,parades and high school football.Will head there soon as break in band activities.
