Hello fellow fisherman!
Looking to plan our annual spring trip (March/April) and seeking advice. We have been going to Ky Lake and Weiss the past 8 years. Looking to try a new place. We prefer to longline but will adjust as we prefer to catch crappie! Any advice about lakes in AL that are particularly good or are in a good cycle would be greatly appreciated.
Alabama River in April
The Alabama River was always good when I was kid with my dad. Don't overlook Pintlala Creek too.
Do pretty good on Guntersville that time of year long lining.
Probably not as good as the ones listed above but i catch'em pretty good on Wheeler in the spring spider rigging. Just according how the rain hits and how muddy it makes the water!
