Terrova trouble

Had a lot of noise when I turned to the right Left was quiet. Couldn't find any dealer close and remembered Feelay had an issue once. He told me about a guy in Iuka so I called him. Very helpful, when he found out I was in the Delta he told me the steering box was about 125 from minnkota and if I had any mechanical sense I could fix it myself. He was right. What was causing the issue? And how hard was it to fix? Hope mine does not start acting up. But you never know, it had to be worked on after 1 hour of use when new. But that was the main board went out.

Wasn't hard but had to take shaft out and head off

I guess steering gears just got worn. I only use my terrova on Sunday mornings to get me to church. [emoji12]

If you have trouble and need service give Jerrys Trolling motor service a call. Not many folks in business willing to give a person info for free. Really nice guy

That's a motor guide unit. Terrova is minnkota

I realize that but I thought the gearing was similar. My mistake.
