15 Minutes of Fun

Today I decided to take a day off and go through my boat since I haven't touched it in over 5 months. I found that my bilge pump was shot, both of my aerator switches are shot, bearings need to be replaced, a cat peed all inside the boat and used the bench seat as a scratching post, and the trolling motor wouldn't work! Man, I have some work to do before the fall bite starts. I did put it on Conway to test my replacement Lowrance and it worked good. I just happen to throw a rod in the boat that was rigged up from this past spring. I caught 5 crappie in about 15 minutes (without a trolling motor) before the wind made it too tough to move from tree to tree by pulling on cypress branches. Man I missed the thump! Now I need to work on the boat and get ready!

Hate that for ya on the boat but you better get busy cooler weather will be here before you know it. Nice pics.

Just figured out that my trolling battery is bad and didn't take a charge and that my trolling motor and aerator switches are fine.

Been on worse trips. Its a boat!?!?! Always something.

Sorry to hear that you had some boat issues. But feeling that thump is hard to beat.
