Looking for opinions!

My setup
999si @ console
859 @ bow
TM 360
All linked together and working good.

I am wanting to add another LARGER unit to the bow to better utilize the 360 and to keep from having to split screen for maps or 2d/map.
Universal Mania has a pretty good buy on the Helix 12 si currently or would you go ahead and shoot for the Onix (seems some have sold in the $1500 range), also I'm thinkn another SI unit is maybe overkill but would serve as a backup to the console unit.

OR wait to see what is coming out new with all the chatter that is going around!!
Decisions.....decisions!! lol

I may have to make another trip to your place for some help on the install :) Still need to add the 2d on the rear and raise the HDSI a bit.

I would wait at least to see what the new stuff may be ... There will still be existing bargains available after the news release ...

As for ONIX vs HELIX ... ... ...

ONIX is cool ... Has dedicated DI in the same unit ... And very customizable ... But difficult menus ...

HELIX is brighter, wider, recognizable menus from the core units ... (HELIX may have an edge in 360 split views because of the wider screen) ...

Did not realize Helix had a larger viewing screen.

It's W I D E R and bright for sure!
I just added a Helix 12 SI and it eats most of passenger windshield up. lol
