Military Honors Funeral
There was a honor funeral for the daughter in laws father. It was an emotional experience.
The Air Force ceremony guards , including the chaplain, came from Little Rock AFB to hold the ceremony.
Taps, flag fold, 3 volleys fired. Makes me swell with pride to be a veteran and an American.
I will miss the Colonel and our conversations about Vietnam. Not many people can relate to this experience.
I still have Billbob.

I appreciate his service, his families sacrifice, and his relationship with you and probably other vets. My prayers for all as their journeys continue here in this temporal world we live in.

Sorry for your loss, tear jerker for sure. Extreme thanks goes out for his sacrifice and his service.

I was honored to be a pall bearer for my great-uncle who was a combat veteran of WWII Battle of the Bulge. Humbling experience but also an honor.

Sorry about the Colonel Tom, I'm an old Viet Nam combat grunt 65- 66. It's very hard for me to stand and listen to the Taps being played at a funeral without getting emotional. Sorry for your daughter in law, and America for the great loss.

Blessings and thanks for sharing.
FYI- If you are a vet, make sure you have the necessary documents for a military funeral. Do it now so your surviving kin don't have to try and figure it out.
