The foggy mornings have began on Tellico Lake as we start into the cool down period. I guess this could be expected for the next few weeks until the water cools on down some.
Fish today were grouped and holding tight to cover anywhere from 8 to 20 ft deep. The fish were not real aggressive today as you had to bang around in the cover in order to get bit. The good thing is several bites were to be had where fish were found.
Crappie Magnets swam on a 1/16th oz worked best but a vertical jig straight down before leaving the site brought in a few of the more stubborn ones.
