Had a problem with the fuel system on my boat last week at Truman. Fuel line was coming apart from the inside, which they say is from the ethanol in gasoline. I always put ethanol free gas in it but I bought the boat used two years ago and I didn't know what the other owner used. The boat is a 2000 so it is 16 years old. If you have an older boat and never replaced the fuel lines this winter might be a good time to take them loose and take a good look at it. I took the fuel pulse pump apart which is where the inlet line goes to the motor and it had a bunch of the lining in it. I took it apart and rebuilt it. I blew out the other fuel lines and replaced the inline fuel filter that is past this pump. Took it for a test drive last night and it ran good . Of course I had to dip a couple of docks. Caught one in five feet of water. The wind was whipping and the breeze was cool. Had to put the jacket on so the water should be cooling down quickly and hopefully causing the crappie to go on a feeding frenzy. Good luck to every one fishing this weekend.Attachment 248820
