Woods 9-17-16
There was a points tournament on the 17th for the middle Tn crappie club. I had a different partner this time, Kane Jackson. This was the first time we had fished together. He is a pretty good fishermen. The sky was mostly cloudy with some light misting rain, winds were rough, blowing about 10-15. On that lake that is rough. Water temp was around 83 and air temp went up to 90. We fished the same pattern that Mario and I had fished the 2 weeks before. See woods 9-3-16 thread. Minnows under slip floats 12-15 ft down. We ended the day with 10 fish in the live well and felt pretty good about our chances. We got to the weigh in and pulled out our 5 biggest fish. We had another 5 that were all about the same size so we took 2 out of the well and compared them and threw one in the weigh in bag and said that was good. Well if you do the math we had 5+1. According to the weigh master that only makes 6 fish. We were suppose to weigh in 7. :bash Not sure what we were thinking. We were the first to weigh in and it seemed like an eternity to get everyone weighed in. :pray All the time Kane and I were getting madder and madder about our mistake. Lucky for us we won the thing. :cheers2Would have never lived it down if we hadn't have.
