Found 'em
Went fishing today, got onto the water about 10:30 this am and did okay trolling about, figured we should try another area above a dock of sorts so we row row row'd the boats and as we started drifting back towards the dock I broke out the technology just to get a glimpse of what might be lurking beneath the surface..............

At that point I dropped the anchor and we finished out the last hour or so right there.
, it was a good day to catch.

interesting electronics for sure . i guess after you look at one enough it gets easier to understand but at first i was a lost camper ....after i saw those icons though i knew it was game on shortly there after .....very nice

Yeah, low buck fishing for sure but it gets the job done.
It has definitely changed the way I look at fishing, the crappie in our little fishery seem to be everywhere except within casting distance of the bank, and structure does not seem to be an issue, as a matter of fact it would seem that the structure is kinda fished out or just over pressured, these pics are open water. The dock we were drifting back towards was several hundred yards distant when those schools showed up.
Here is another group, much smaller and a bit earlier in the afternoon before the move up wind of the dock, still in open water.
On my depth finder, anything that shows up yellow is fish,

Dang,, I wish I could read my finder better,,,,I have a hummingbird helix 5 si and coukdnt tell you what time it is most the day,,,lol
