Played with the new mold this am, not perfect didn't want to pull out the duel injector due to time. The intent I think worked though.Attachment 246734 What I really like is the venting just shoots like butter:biggrin

Like it .new to pouring injecting. How do you pour two colors. Without dual injectors ? Thanks
Looks great
Here's how I do it. With mold open I heat my secondary color while injector is heating in toaster oven. I shoot just the grub part of one side,( takes a steady hand) let it cool while heating primary color. I use a artist brush and alcohol wipe the grub body of the secondary color to insure bonding, after primary color comes up to temp. Put mold together clamp and shoot! Labor intensive a little but, worth it in my opinion. Hope this helps
One other issue why I don't always use a duel injector, the duel color flows all the way through the tail! It effects the tail color sometimes to the good sometime to the bad, not giving me the effect I intended.
Very nice!!!!!! Another reason I don't pour plastics - I believe you have the smaller one also?? It's cheaper for me to get great plastics from you guys and not have to pour myself!!
Shouldn't have to wipe with alcohol if shooting immediately. Now if it sat around and got oily then yeah. But I guess it couldn't hurt and gives ya something to do while plastic is heating. Lol
