400W sodium light on Juliette
So I have one of those high powered sodium lights and a generator to run it. I bought it to catch herring at night on Juliette. I was thinking of trying it for crappie Juliette this fall. (I don't fish crappie in warmer water. I guess I have a prejudice about wanting my crappie as fillets and caught when the water is at least cool.)
My plan is to go out in the evening and dip around looking for crappie on the standing timber. If I catch some, I think I'll put the light out at sundown and see what happens.
I'd sure appreciate any pointers on when, water depth, general type of locations, etc.
