Made it over to Clinton yesterday. Caught 2 limits of whites trolling a crank bait/twister tail jig rig. 90% were caught on the jig. Fish were in 10-12 fow. Went up to the hot water discharge after to see what the temp was. 103 degrees. WOW

Took my Dad out trolling this morning. Caught a nice little eater 'eye and a handful of keeper crappies trolling Bandit 200 and 300s. Didn't catch a single white or striper. Learning Clinton Lake for trolling. Found a decent bank on the last pass of the day...need to spend more time down there to figure it out. Thanks for the report.

If you fish on weekdays it is not a problem at all. I don't fish on weekends because of the idiots. After Labor Day alot of the pleasure boats/jet skies give up.Quote:
