I bet I know where you got them. They look great.

Just remember these things work as good, maybe better in day time. I mean how many Texas lakes are clear enough that once 10 feet down it's not dark as all get out? I bet none! I have done well in sunshine and they will charge just sitting in the sun for a short time.

That's pretty cool, been thinking bout doing some! Do they actually work? Where did ya get the glow chenille? I've seen the glow paint!

Those are skip's glow jigs. I don't think it's chenille. I'm sure skip will feel you in.

Yes they work!
No it's not as easy as chenille. Actually It's a process I came up with like 10 years or longer back. I spelled it out on here I think last year and should be able to search it out and see what I do. The body is also not soft plastic and will last a lot longer than the feathers in the tail will, lol! You must also have some of the right kind of chenille as a base and the Glow Powder is really expensive also. Basically I use the best Glow Powder that can be had and I use Softex which I mix with the Glow powder and I use a wood skewer to put it on the chenille with and I put enough that you can not tell there is any chenille and all you see if not glowing is the White Body that is very tough and it would take a good sharp knife and some work to get it off. Anyway do a search for my post.
See the picture below of the same jigs I took after I made them. These are the brightest possible glow jigs there is! As you can see I just held these under the table with the over head light still on and I actually have to let them die down a few seconds or they are too bright for a clear picture!

AND they for sure work in the daylight .....big fish of the day out of over 200 bit one yesterday btw .....
and YES a KABOOM to mister SKIP :highfive
Good job buddy, I told you they work in the day time, lol! For me I am not sure if their not better during the day than the night, just have not been enough at night the last few years. Use to do that a lot, but last summer and this summer it was just too darn hot for me even at night and then rain, rain, rain! Know I told you but for you that have never tried these, my very first daytime crappie on one of my Glow Jigs was a 17" one at that! All you need is a good bright light or if the sun is shining it will charge it for you, all is good!
