New to Maryland
Hi Everyone,
I just received orders to Suitland, Maryland and am looking to get into some panfish, especially Crappies. I'll be living in Calvert County and I'm arriving mid to late September. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can get into some Crappies, Bluegills, Perch, or Walleyes.
Tightlines,

As us Southern Merylanders call it Culvert County.. Heck yea lots of great places to fish..Under the RT 4 bridge on the Patuxant is a nice pier. If you have boat it greatly extends your possibilities then you have the Potomac / Patuxant / Magothy and many many more.
Walleyes are north of DC and sometimes at Blue Plains (need a boat)
If you ever get the chance try Fletcher's in DC and rent a wooden boat.. Catfish and a great shad run in April/May
April /May is also the time I do spider rig crappie trips for up to 4 people. Better book this year for next year as it only lasts 30 days at best.

Captain Mike,
Thanks for all the great info. What is the limit for Crappies on those trips? Also, do you have a website? I like to eat what I catch so I'm guessing the Potomac is out of the question.
