I had a lot of success in my own private pond this spring with a beetle spin and a shad body. The problem was that the shad got torn up and often had their tails bit off. I'm looking for a more durable replacement to use and am considering the Mister Twister VIE Shiner.
Does anyone have any experience with it in any way?
Give the Crappie Magnets a try. Works great for me. And is really tough.
I fished those things all the time (shad) dating back to the early nineties if not sooner. They are great for locating bass and crappie.
They work fine..Try the Arkie Curtail minnows.. good action, and tough..caught 7 crappie on one this year. still GTG
