Thermocline on Jordan--Screenshots

My Father went fishing with Charles and myself today, so I had some time to take some screenshots. Some have been asking about the thermocline and thought I would share some pictures.

The lake is rising and I think some of the pictures will illustrate what moving water will do to the thermocline. Some of these pictures have me puzzled and I need some help from you guys.

1. Traditional summer shot of thermocline on Jordan. Death below 10 feet.

3. What is going on here? In fact, look at these two shots. The thermocline is supposed to be a dead area and this sure looks like fish down there to me.

4. Why no thermocline???? Water is 88 degrees and almost 25 feet deep. This shot is in the channel just before going under the Farrington bridge. I think the rising water has mixed the water going under the bridge. Feel free to share any thoughts you may have.

AS I UNDERSTAND IT LACK OF OXGEN IS BELOW THERMOCLINE,,WATER IN THAT AREA IS COOLER AND BELOW THAT IS WHERE FISH CAN NOT LIVE.IN OTHER PIC WHERE NO THERMOCLINE YOU SAID RAISEN WATER,WELL MOVING WATER WILL TAKE AWAY THERMOCLINE,RIVERS WITH MOVING WATER DO NOT SET UP A THERMOCLINE BECAUSE THE WATER MIXES,BTW GREAT SHOTS,LOOK LIKE A ONIX,BEST PIC TAKEN MACHINE OUT THERE IMO

It's an Onix 8--the shots look a brownish-tan, but on the screen it is amber. Not easy to see with the bright sunlight.

Have an idea--the shots in section 3 are in the channel that leads into Bush Creek. Maybe the water has mixed enough that the fish can go into the deeper, cooler water and have a nice vacation from the heat. At least it's a thought.

At least now that the "Solar Bees" are no longer operating, we have a thermocline above the 64 bridge. In 2014 and 2015 the thermocline was deeper than the water above the 64 bridge. In years past, I found the thermocline to be around 12 ft in water depths 14 to 20 ft away from current areas.
