Ifn a feller was wanting to go from 12' rods to 14' rod what would be my best option. I have fished bgjp, westpoints and pinnacles but i have never touched any of the pst's, c and c's, or the southern crappie rods. I am in no hurry purchase any but am planning to buy a couple at a time as $$$ allows mite even buy a couple of each till I figure out which one is my favorite.
I think it's all personal preference, I have had bgjps, capps and now I'm using pst and pst have by far been my favorite....not to mention you can use the pst for almost every style of fishing
Erin you need to put your hands on em and try em. I wouldnt have a PST if you melted it down and poured it on me but that is my opinion. For me at this point its the Southern Crappie and the Caps and Colemans
See you will get tons of opinions and they are all good, best advice I can give honestly is go with 16'.....i went 12's, then 14, now at 16 would have saved money if I would have started with 16. I have a friend that just started he bought 12s used My 16s the other day and wants 16s now, also just yesterday had another guy txt me saying I have a set of 12s if you know anyone looking I'm going to 16s....omce again length is personal preference but I see lots of times guys wanting to upgrade to 16sQuote:

Question will be as to what techniques are you going to do with them ? Pull cranks ? power troll? spider rig ? push cranks ?long line ? Some have rods for each application and some use one set to do all . :juggle
