I'm mainly a bass man but I've been drilling BIG crappies on a jerk bait lately. What a blast and an awesome bonus fish! Got a couple 14" ers last time out.

Good fish!! I caught 5 off of a downed tree along a dams rip rap one morning on a brown backed husky jerk. Threw that bait til my arm hurt and never got another on it that day, Better lucky than good?
They're so beautiful with those golden flanks. I've never caught like that.

Thanks y'all. My norm is bass like I said but a 14" crappie round these parts in public water is unheard of.
