Was rolling purty good when we started baiting up. A few broke over the bow. Turned with the wind to our back. Picked up 6 keeps and several shorts. Best action was 7-8 fow fishing 2 ft deep. Jigs and minners.

Cool
reckon where that is? if I had to bet I say the water is fixin to be 35' foot deep here shortly
2" deep in those waves....I'd bet the bait was out of the water alot. Ha. Glad you caught some. Looks like a rough day on the water.:)
Running with 3oz lead
I was wondering by the pole tips if you were hung on the bottom 😆

Yea, they load up from the git go. Not near as sensitive but that's offset somewhat by the speed. When the fish hits it doing 1.2 -1.5 mile an hour you see it.
What poles are they??
The pole on the right is an HT Crappie Commander pro troller, 14'. It's a 2 piece pole. Got em from Grizzly a few years ago, supposedly a pole they had made. The one on the left is a 14' Ozark pro trolling. You can't see it good in the pic but the HT has to be angled up about 3 inches higher to get the tip to hang at the same distance as the Ozark. It's a good pole for the money. The HT's are light but the Ozarks are stiffer. I've got some of both, trying to get all Ozarks but the pocket won't stand it.
