Lost a REALLY good one .....
From time to time we lose things , some of them are really good ones . Friday i did a quick visit to one of my local lunch break spots.
Had a real hard time ketchn crappie because i had the wrong equipment with me . i have been targeting the crappie there for quite some time and in the beginning stages i couldnt ketch one . i wasnt presenting the baits properly for the river fish and got schooled over and over . Well i saw a man ketch one one day when i was there and things changed quickly . i focused harder on how to trick them and after a trip or 2 more i got in the club .
I got a photo yesterday from a bass angler who is there every day . He works right behind the building i work in and he has been going there on his lunch breaks for many many years .I was going to hit it yesterday myself but other things stopped me from going . and YES i was standing right there on Friday and now on Monday it seems my favorite perch on the concrete is now a BIG NO NO .....all the flooding we had seems to have under cut the bank to the point the concrete collapsed . The other half says i am not allowed down there anymore until they fix it .....
Said she never liked me going there in the first place because of the steep angle of the perch and the possibility i would fall in and never be seen again ....man i am sad about this one ....
