No luck whatsoever yesterday. Finally got my little jon boat out, but I must be doing something wrong or hitting the wrong spots or something - not to mention, the wind was wicked on that small of a boat... I'll be the first to admit that I am not the most experienced crappie fisherman out there, so it's 100% entirely possible that my technique is messed up somewhere - I'm always open to suggestions and education - even things like the speed of retrieval of a jig are not out of bounds! Lol
Anyway, I put the bobber stop at various depths ranging from 12 inches to 8ft (and without a bobber), fishing in 15-25 fow - changed jigs between pink/yellow, chart/white, minnow lookalike plastics, dark and light grub plastics, and a few other things I'm sure I forgot about - bounced between 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4 ounce heads - all over about 4-5 hours. Nada... Not sure if it's me or them, but something just ain't right... lol
