4 color laminates
I really like the concept of 4 color laminates like Robo Worm uses so much of, but doing small baits pretty much nixes the process. I was clearing things around a little yesterday and set aside 4 colors of re-melt plastic to try a slightly larger bait in the 4 color today. This is a Do-It 3.5" Finesse Worm.. The mold is a ten cavity. The mold is also an easy one to toy with so after hand pouring a hot pink and an orange in the two outside halves I injected a super sparkle pearl and chartreuse thru the middle using a Do-It Twin injector. Everything turned out fine except the chartreuse up next the hot pink makes it appear to be a much deeper orange. lol Should have turned the pearl and chartreuse around. All's well though because the process works fine. Just have to be a bit careful what colors are against another.

Some of these will find a place in the crappie tackle pail and the rest will go in the winter walleye pail. Now its time to look at a few more color combos to try.

Those are sweet!!!!!!!!!!

They look great. The spotted bass around here would eat the fire out of them. It's funny how colors affect other colors. I'll have something in my head that should work till you shoot it and it turns out different than I had pictured. Even if you where going for a pink the orange looks great buddy. You da man!

One thing about those is you got something for everyone's taste mixed in there. Them would catch a lot of big crappie down here. Great looking baits.

Looks good from where I'm setting.

Here's another that I cooked up but the two colors thru the middle are way too much alike and won't split.

The outside colors were hand poured and the pair down the pipe were brown mayfly and a smoke. In the cups the center colors looked far enough apart to hold up but nada. Live and learn. These went right into the walleye pail where some wiley cold water/cold weather marble-eyed chunk will eat them.
