Kayak report for Tuesday (pic heavy)
I fished swan creek behind the Delphi plant Tuesday morning. Caught well over 100 gills and crackers as well as 6 crappie. Kept about 40 and 4 crappie. there were 1/2 inch brim popping everywhere with bass and bigger bream chasing them. Fish were all over the lake as the water was up about 1 ft and the moss was under water. The bait of the day was the little sassy shad on a 32 oz jig head. They would not hit the spinner with the bait on it. Had one crappie 2 lb plus. Best mooring I have had in the kayak by for. The big crappie had several small bluegill in him that he had eat. caught a gill that lived through an encounter with a heron, set him free.
