Anybody got any suggestions of where to go in the morning to do a little cranking at the Ross Barnett reservoir from about 6 AM until 11. I tried to places that I finish during the spring in 12 foot plus deeper water and I've had no success looking for some suggestions

I have never fished the Rez....but if I was gonna pull cranks I would do some scouting with my SI and look for bait fish and shad....the crappie will be under them.
I probably wouldn't even know what I was looking at I'm trying to learn that side imaging but I'm struggling with it
