Is baiting a fishing hole legal?

I heard some people throwing cans of dog food or sacks of corn in a fishing spot in order to attract fish. Is that legal?

don't know but I heard dog food will mostly attract catfish.....

Dog food will attract bream as well

Better to tie it to a stump or branch rather than just chunk it in the lake.

I was told by an old Sac fisherman to punch holes in a can of corn.

Hang a full sack of crawfish empty shells from a tree!

I find structure works better for me. Give bait a place to hide and crappie will come. Give a place for crappie to hide and they will probably stay.

littering is illegal last i checked. :)

Fish just love eating maggots don't they. Remember keep the boat up wind when fishing the baited tree. My grandpa use to do that. It use to yield a bunch of fish thanks for reminding me of that trick I forgot about that one.

I've occasionally seen dead cows floating. I guess you could fish under that. UGH!
