First time to use a Huckabee rod. Wow!!!
Spent most of three days with MontanaBoy at Mark Twain in Missouri. He was brave enough to let me use his Meatdragga (for a short time only). The sensitivity is unreal. I had been using a couple of IM6 rods and keeping my fingers on the line. Unless I was bringing the line up slowly, I wouldn't have known that the fish had picked it up. When I switched to the Meatdragga, I could "feel the thump" on every bite.
I mentioned to fishing partner that Father's Day is rapidly approaching. The problem is that she says I have to sell twenty of my old rods before I think of getting a Huckabee. Anybody want to buy twenty old rods???
