True Opinions Wanted
MS folks,
I have been coming down for a few years now. Rees and BRM have given some great advice on several lakes in the past. And many others have provided temps and conditions, and it has always been very much welcomed.
I have the entire month of October to pick any week, and can change plans within days notice. I want to come down for an entire week, possibly fish Grenada, Enid or Sardis. Or all 3. Or if lake Washington is on fire I can pull up stakes and head west, I have grown fondly of that little jewel!
Anyhow, for some basic planning, what would you do in my shoes. Might be by myself or another boat with a pair of buddies. Regardless, I'm coming to fish, plain and simple. State park, hotel, lodge?
What would you do? You dont have to answer here. You can send me a pm.
Thanks,
Brian

Any of those you listed will be good at that time . Enid has the best cabins . If going to Lake Washington check wit Mike a t Baitnthangs for place to stay and fishing report.

Thank you. Mr. Mike is a great man. We are booked again for next March with him. Just a beautiful lake, and fantastic fishery. This year at Mr. Mike's, I think we drove less than 3 miles once we got there, can't beat the ramp access from the cabins.

I would try my best to get a cabin at Enid. That way you could fish Sardis, Enid or Grenada. And if they were off and Washington turned on it's not a terrible drive over there and back.

Our Fall Camp is at Enid on October 15th...would be glad to have you...

The best option at Washington is to call Pam at Roy's store for cabins. Nothing wrong with Mike, she just has more cabins.
I'd concentrate on the Big 4 instead of Washington. It depends to the temps more than the others that time of year. It's hit or miss. Way more options on the corp lakes.

my grandpa was always a single pole guy lived at watervalley (enid) for 20-30 yrs, for most the yr anyway, during the winter and holidays would usually come back to missouri. he still swears early november is the best time to hammer the big ones around the trees. he told me ive got to go to grenada in the fall if you wanna feel the thump on some giants. he lived 2 min from the boat ramp and would drive 30 min to fish grenada. enid isn't a bad pick either though

Thanks guys. I am thinking I may come down for the fall camp and fish most of the following week.
Our pay it forward shindig is the next weekend, so going to come back just in time for that.
