Going to Truman next week. What's the most remote part? Need to get away from it all. No cell phone, no crowds, just me and my boat.

If you wanna catch a few fish, you almost have to find the crowds because that's most likely where the fish are. But if you just want to get away and relax on the water, stay away from the dam area and the main lake areas. I see a ton of boats and jet ski's out in those areas the most. Also stay away from any popular camp sites or major boat launches (Bucksaw, state park area, Osage bluff area, etc). Those areas also attract a lot of the water "fleas". Good luck and enjoy the water!
I was at Talley Bend and saw very few boats on the sunday I went.
Talley Bend area or Osage Bluff area. Osage bluff area up the Pomme arms would be great place to get away. Good population of black crappie and great place to catch some bonus walleye.
Thanks for the info. Yes it would be nice to catch a few for dinner. Appreciate the info.
Wish we could help you out. Went to the weir this morning and that bite was not to be found. Moved to Tally Bend and left after catching 1 short and 1 keeper. Talked to several guys pre fishing the crappie masters without much luck. Main lake 84 degrees with about 6 inches visibility and a little better in the coves. Just fished jigs no minnows. All bites on brown and orange carrot.
