6/11 Barnett

I said I would never fish a Saturday during the Summer again on Barnett but with the weather forcasted to have a good bit of rain next week I knew I had to go Saturday if I was gonna go at all. I decided before hand I was gonna stick fairly close to the boat ramp instead of going very far upriver because that is where all the real idiots reside on The Rez on Saturday's. I got bucked around by waves almost constantly but as soon as I could get a minute or 2 of calmness I would catch a fish almost everytime. The fish are shallow chasing around the small shad that have hatched out. Caught mist of the fish in 10-12' of water fishing 4-5 foot deep.

While I was cleaning fish my wife and kids went out and pick some wild blackberries and we made a cobbler for dessert. It was sho nuff good with some Blue Bell
