The reostat on my Terrova is so loose I think the wind blowing hard can move it to 10. Can be dangerous if you happen to bump it then hit the on button, may go swimming.
Any ideas on how to tighten it up a tad?

Try pushing in on the speed control knob. Further in gives more friction on volume control pots. Push knob toward center of pedal, not down!
Don't use a crow bar!
