Fished Pomme for the first time

After taking a beating from big boat waves on LOZ Saturday evening I decided to try Pomme yesterday afternoon. What a nice change! I put in at Pittsburg access went up the lake a little ways and started trolling crankbaits along channel edges and didn't take long to find some nice crappie. Fished that spot for about an hour and caught 7 in the 12" range some shorts and a couple whites. Ran around some sight seeing and tried a few other spots and couldn't get the drum to leave me alone. I will fish that lake more for sure.

Pomme has been really good to me the last couple years. I like putting in at Nemo or Pittsburg Park. Bolivar Landing is good but can get pretty busy on the weekends. Hope you can be a regular to Pomme going forward.

It is a lake I always have liked. Looking forward to knowing more about it once I move a little west of here.

Good lake to fish,don't see too many monsters but alot of nice fish.Hope you have many more days there.Congrats on the catch.

Nice report Targa. Pomme is a great lake. Them drum can be a pain sometimes.

It's a nice lake for sure! I wish it and Stockton were closer. I can fish LOZ from daylight till about 10 am then it's time to get off the water. If I want to go somewhere to fish during the day I'll probably go to pomme from now on.
