The afternoon crappie bite was good again Friday. We were in the right place at the right time and located a "mega school" of fish. It produced for quite awhile and we caught fifty six crappie with twenty three that made the trip back with us. We also caught some bass and a few other species. We fished deep using both minnows and jigs on StandOut hooks.
Good looking fish. I could stand that.

Their appetite seems to really pick up around this time after being spent out from the spawn for awhile.
