A Crappie Tournament to help the Shiner's Hospitals Sept 24, 2016

If you ever wanting to fish a crappie tournament this will be a great one to fish with a low entrance fee. For all our tournament fisherman I hope you will join in on this one as I know some have already signed up to fish it.

You don't realize what Shriner's Hospitals do until you wall through one and see all the great work they do or like myself, have a child that is a Shriner's Child. My daughter was treated for almost three years in the early 80's and we were never asked for a dime although we did give what we could at the time and I still give to the Shriner's today. To see my daughters legs and feet today you would never know she was born with (clubfoot) both of her feet were turned out sideways but through many prayers and the help and work of the doctors of the Greenville Shriner's Hospital she is able to walk and run like nothing was never wrong.

There are many children that has been or is being treated now at all the Shriner's Hospitals all over America so I hope you will consider to join and give this Tournament all the help we can plus you will have a great time spending the day on the water with other like minded people who love our sport of Crappie Fishing.

That's great and a very worthy cause. I won't be able go to it but will pull for any of our CDC guys to win. Glad your daughter got the help she needed and was helped. I have always tried to help them. Thanks for posting.:highfive

Between St. Jude's, and the Shriners hospitals many miracles have taken place. Never burdening families with fees for medical services, travel, or room and board. These hospitals can do these things because of donations. This tournament sounds like a fantastic way for the crappie angler to give a little love and support to the children and their families who these hospitals care for. Thanks for sharing Ronnie, I'll save the date.

they want as many fisherman as they can get from what I understand is 1st come 1st serve means the way the sign up sheet is; meaning I am the first person to sign up my boat gets checked and I go!!! I spoke with Tom Mundy last night and he is wanting a big turn out and I hope he gets it !!! thanks Ronnie for posting !!! :ThumbsUp

we fish 2 on Wateree in April every year for the Shriners hospital .... if we don't have a tourney that weekend we'll be there.

Hey y'all. Glad to see that the crappie tournament is becoming a topic of discussion. Thank you for your support. I didn't realize it was on here until I got a phone call from a gentleman last night to register for the tounament.
When He told me where he had heard about it I had to check it out. My name is Tom Ashley and I'm one of the people organizing the tournament. We hope that it will be a huge success. Your entry fee includes food and t shirts for each of the fisherman. 1st come 1st does mean the order you register is the order you blast off.
