Todays excitement/disaster

Me and Will went to pull some crankbaits today. It was slower than yesterday.. But we were picking up fish.

Then we ran through of some pretty good sized stripes and before I could get them up it was over. Broke 3 and tangled everything. While we were out of commission re-rigging what we had left they blew up busting shad and will wanted to go catch one. As bad as I hate a striper.. I couldn't tell him no so we trolled through them and he hooked up with a pretty good'un. Took him about 5 minutes to wear him down enough to get him in the boat.

That is one nice stripe. Will done good, bet he had a blast landing that thing.

Nothin' beats spending time with the kids, especially young ones like Will!
Enjoy the time together, because they grow up so quickly.
