Need Advice on Summertime Crappie on Conway

Several of ya'll have gotten me started from late October thru mid-May crappie fishing on Conway, and while not a great fisherman, have been catching enough for me (5-12 a trip is all I look for - don't like to clean more than that).

Now that the water has gotten into the 82-86 range, and will be getting higher soon, I haven't a clue what my summer strategy should be (perhaps it should be to play golf until late October :dono).

Any advice would be most appreciated. Basically like to single pole jig, but somewhat open to other methods (I enjoy the thump of a few more than the pull of a bunch from trolling and have zero interest in spider rigging).

Someone mentioned to me that the white crappie seemed to almost disappear from Conway during the summer. I know that there are bound to be a bunch in there hid out somewhere.

I found that device Bobby, it is now located at way point 1122 Boogie Woogie Avenue at the bottom of Lake Conway.

LOL!!! You guys are a trip!! Hey Bobby I was thinking about a drone to follow CP around Conway a bit. I just have not figured out how to get the exact way point yet! Once they come out in stealth mode I might can get close enough.:Rofl

Find Chris (CMJ ) and see which trees he fishes . :biggrin

actually, I have met Chris several times, often in the same area, but it has always been in the fall, winter, and spring when I can catch a few myself. haven't seen him lately though, so I figure I am in the wrong location for post spawn and early summer :dono
