crankbaits?????? Thanks:help
crankbaits?????? Thanks:help
I've started using hi-vis line in 4 and 6 lb test on spinning gear with no leader...thus far this year, I've haven't caught any less fish than in past years...bass, bream, and crappie.
use it on everything no effect on fish
I use High vis yellow line for everything....and no, I do not use a leader
Go with the hi viz and never look back!
No, I do not worry about a clear leader pulling crankbaits. I am experimenting with the clear vs hi-vis at night though.
Nope, hi-vis all the way to the eyelet on the hook. No leader required.
Been wondering if everyone else is using hi-vis line. I bought my first a couple of years ago and put it on a couple of reels. I actually put it on what has turned out to be my favorite spinning reel and caught more fish on that reel with the line than any other I have in the last couple of years...bream, crappie and bass. Tried spider rigging Saturday for the first time with 4 poles, 2 with hi-vis and 2 with regular line, the 2 with regular line will have hi-vis before the next spider rigging trip.
Thanks for help. One less knot to fail x 5 or 6. Great tips .
I use low vis on my casting rod, but hi vis (yellow) on my jigging/spider rigging rods. It might make a difference fishing for other species, but for Crappie and gills the hi vis seems to work better, it might even help attract some fish. :twocents
